Mrs. Ann L. Campbell          December 23, 1923 - August 3, 2009

Mrs. Ann L. Campbell (grammy)

Tribute from her Celebration of Life Home-going Service

To My Loving Family - You may wonder why I went away and did not say "Good Bye"

I couldn't bear to tell you for it hurts to see you cry.

My ship came in the night and was beautiful to see.  The captain was King Jesus and He beckoned to me.

I fell down at His feet.  He gently took me in his arms, my best is not complete.

We cannot know what lies ahead, from day to passing day.  What changes God is planning in His wise and loving way.

We cannot know the reasons he allows both joy and tears.  Why we must lose the precious one we've nourished through the years.

We cannot know, but we can trust and that faith can help us find our way.

To those tomorrows that will bring us peace of mind, God saw the road was getting rough, the hill was hard to climb.

He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered "peace be thine."

Rest In Peace Grammy!

Love

Always,

Connie (Veda)
